Yep. Over 20 years of marriage and now I am single. When I was married, I was the problem. I didn’t give enough, I didn’t clean enough, I didn’t cook enough, I was not happy enough. Finding a therapist that was healthy fit for me feels like walking in a loaded diaper but no clean wipes are to be found. Having Vanessa and Xander talk through relationships and the challenges of marriage helped comfort me. I am not alone. I am good enough. I am able to love me as a single mom and “No Mother, I don’... more
I’m a longtime listener and love the podcast, but one aspect of the show that I find really frustrating is when Xander tries to explain things that I want an “expert’s” perspective on…like your sex personality types. That would be like me as a non-nurse jumping in to technical part of my wife’s nursing experience. I appreciate the “normal dude” perspective, but cringe when I hear Xander talk like an expert.
This is such a great podcast! Super informative and very entertaining. Vanessa and Xander have such a great chemistry. Some of the episodes are laugh-out-loud funny.
I even got my spouse in on the fun. She was not a fan of podcasts in general, let alone sex podcasts, but now she wants to listen all the time. Needless to say it has improved our sex life greatly.
I love listening to this podcast. After 30 years of marriage I still learn so much!
This podcast has good information, discussion topics, and fun married life experience sharing. It is from the perspective of a heterosexual monogamous couple, which comes across in their content, and is not very diverse in perspective and practice. This is not a bad thing, just helpful to know if you are not living a heterosexual or non-monogamous lifestyle.
