  • What happened to mic sounding clearer and not in a room with no furniture?

Long time listener! I love all the info and it’s actually opened my mind to things as well. The only thing is it sounds like you’re in a room with no furniture. Like a different mic?

  • Turn up your level

Good info but you’re way too quiet. Turn the gain up on your mic so we can hear you vs guests and especially significantly louder ads.

  • She’s not even a doctor??

This woman is not a doctor, and should not be calling herself one let alone give advice from the lens of being a doctor. She is not qualified to be giving advice on anything more than just her opinion which frankly lackluster. Some of the things she is trying to ‘normalize’ aren’t normal for everyone, and she refuses to dive into the nuance of some behaviors in relationships and instead just spews that you can do whatever you want whenever you want. I suppose for women with little guidance (like... more

The Sex Questions Everyone Is Secretly Asking | Sex With Emily
Q: How can I improve foreplay so it's not treated as a separate act but part of the overall experience?
Shift language to specify what turns you on, plan a longer, slower lead into sex, and consider that foreplay can begin hours before the act; use explicit requests like longer kissing, massages, or teasing to build arousal.
The Sex Questions Everyone Is Secretly Asking | Sex With Emily
Q: How do I safely get into kink and BDSM as a newbie?
Start with conversation, pick a low-stakes activity, discuss boundaries and safe words, and choose aftercare; educate yourself and communicate openly about what turns you on and what you're curious about before escalating.
The Sex Questions Everyone Is Secretly Asking | Sex With Emily
Q: What about alcohol as an aphrodisiac? If you can only have sex after drinking, is that okay?
Alcohol can reduce anxiety and increase perceived confidence, but it depresses physiology and can make arousal harder sober. It's important to identify what the drink is enabling and work toward enjoying intimacy without relying on alcohol, while ensuring both partners feel safe and desired.
The Sex Questions Everyone Is Secretly Asking | Sex With Emily
Q: Okay. My spouse and I have been together for almost 20 years and are exploring opening up our marriage. What conversations and actions should we take prior to advancing the next stage of our relationship?
Focus first on the why and what opening up would actually look like for you both, set clear boundaries, discuss whether you'll date together or separately, and read about open relationships to understand different models. Then keep the discussion iterative until you're aligned on core goals and safety.
Why People Cheat Even In Happy Relationships | Sex With Emily
Q: What do you think cheating is, Em?
Cheating is subjective and fluid; it depends on the couple's boundaries and the conversations they've had, but many agree it involves crossing agreed-upon lines or engaging in intimate acts with someone else without consent or disclosure.
