  • Enough with the word “like”

Great show but so difficult to listen to and follow. You say “like” so much it’s difficult to follow and understand.

  • Good content but way too many ads

I initially started listening because I was interested in some of the content, but the ad content is just too much for me. The ads are long, and if you are a regular listener they are also super repetitive. It gives greedy - you don’t need 15 minutes of ads in your podcast.

Top Time Expert: You Can Have A Career, Family AND Free Time—Here's How
Q: What's a practical first step someone can take this week to apply these ideas?
Commit to a weekly planning session, identify one needle-mover for the week, and schedule a short, specific time block to work on it, so the rest of the week can be organized around that priority.
Should You Move? Have Kids? Change Careers? Science-Backed Frameworks For Every Hard Decision
Q: Is the world actually more uncertain than historically, or does it just feel that way?
Both objective measurements and perception play a role; uncertainty is elevated by recent events and by the internet era's constant information flow, but the feeling is amplified by the sheer pace and visibility of global happenings.
Listen To This If Your Life Feels "Meh" (A Simple Science-Backed Fix)
Q: What is your ideal awe prescription for maximum benefits?
Cultivate a daily mindset of awe for a minute or two, pause, put away devices, and then either walk in nature, listen to music, look slowly at something, or reflect on moral beauty; also train your mind through contemplative practices and slow looking at art or nature.
Listen To This If Your Life Feels "Meh" (A Simple Science-Backed Fix)
Q: Has your research around awe made you not afraid of death?
Yes, awe introduces an oceanic sense of merging with something larger, which reduces fear of death and reframes dying as a transition within a vast continuum, often observed in near-death experiences.
Listen To This If Your Life Feels "Meh" (A Simple Science-Backed Fix)
Q: Is there anything you could tell me if I'm still afraid of death?
There are contemplative Buddhist traditions that focus on death, including imagining the life cycle of someone you love to reduce worries about death, and a range of practices that help people face mortality with less fear.
