I’m frustrated by the fact that Liz claims the podcast to be “science backed” and portrays it as though her team is fact checking everything and avoiding spreading misinformation, and yet she has podcast guests that share conflicting advice. Quite unhelpful. I used to listen to this podcast consistently, since 2020, and deeply appreciated it in the beginning. Ive listened less and less in the past two years however. It feels more clickbaity and less trustworthy.
Sara szal has fancy credentials but basically spoke only to data driven studies. Could not describe at all what a normal v***** smell is and you’re an MTi Harvard doc?? Said she doesn’t think tight leggings cause infections?? Says peeing after s** is not needed. What about all the anecdotal evidence? She also had intense vocal fry which made it hard to take seriously.
I like her guests and that’s why I follow. I liked the ep with Stacy Sims. But listening to Liz is like listening to a teenage girl who doesn’t understand anything outside her own experience.

I just found this podcast a few months ago through Ladygang and have been an avid follower since! Love this podcast, Liz is great at asking the right questions and being selective about her guests and their credentials to be speaking on a subject. I feel like I can trust the information and the show explores and acknowledges the nuance of things instead of trying to make everything so extreme.
Sometimes I do wish she would reduce the commentary oriented toward herself and her personal experiences/issues as I think it sometimes takes over the focus. Also the frequency of bringing up her lov... more
