I thought Erica’s sniping at Sandeep for using the term “gender critical” was very intolerant. Are we not to question the sanity of people who literally feel they were “born in the wrong body”. She can get away with calling people like me “TERF” yet I do not aim to deny trans people the right to exist nor am I a “radical feminist “. There actually is nuance to this situation and there should be dialogue not name calling. And by the way I am a liberal Democrat.
There aren’t many Seattle news / politics podcasts available, but this podcast is becoming increasingly frustrating and stressful to listen to. Sandeep is consistently patronizing to Erica and that hurts this podcast significantly. Erica holds her ground well, but no one wants to listen to a podcast where one commentator offers analysis that is thoughtful and knowledgeable - and the other consistently ignores, attacks, or attempts to manipulate the other commentator.
