  • Great info but disappointing

Really great information and discussions on this podcast but the recent justification for the disparity in prize money for men and women was very disappointing. Saying that men deserve so much more money ($400,000 men vs $60,000 women) because men started the sport and they eat more chicken is ridiculous. The sport needs to evolve and pay women what they are worth in terms of the money they bring to the sport from viewership etc

  • Real, raw, and uplifting

Phoebe and Lauralie are the greats, as all bikini girlies know, and to hear about their experiences and life outside of the stage makes me love this sport even more. I know for me I sometimes feel the pressure and commitment of it all is so lonely and almost unachievable in some aspects and this podcast makes me feel so excited about my commitment to the sport, the community, and just life in general. There is so much joy in life and if you are just a girls girl who enjoys living a healthy lifes... more

  • Love Phoebe can’t stand Lauralie

If Lauralie can stop using the word “like” in every sentence this would be more listenable.

Q: What advice would you give to others pursuing their goals in bodybuilding?
Be true to yourself, do not fear change, and focus on creating your own path.
Long Term Health in Bodybuilding & Supplement Discussions with Cory Hageman
Q: What would your advice be for someone kind of going into the enhancement route?
Start with things that have less impact, focus on non-anabolics initially, and ensure you're managing your health thoroughly first.
Long Term Health in Bodybuilding & Supplement Discussions with Cory Hageman
Q: What are the markers that people can kind of, I guess, look for hormone wise when starting a prep?
You want to look at circulating androgens to retain muscle and ensure your body is in the right state, with TSH levels being particularly important.
Ep 33 - We Are Going To The Arnold!
Q: What are you guys doing differently training and diet-wise for this prep?
We're changing my split training, having less lower body workouts, and being more circuit-based. I'm focusing on keeping my upper body while bringing my legs down.
Ep 40 - Self-Regulation, Anxiety & Social Battery
Q: What would you do to try and improve your social anxiety?
I think I'm just, I'm not gonna let that happen, period. It's about knowing how to respond and self-soothe when someone offers you something you're trying to avoid.
