  • Love It

Listened to the first season after the episodes were all out and just devoured them. It was so timely. I was able to send it to friends who were attending a foursquare church but had no idea what that meant. The only thing I’m upset about is not knowing that season 2 is out, but I’m here for it

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 18: Family as witness, not idol: Rediscovering the biblical vision of the meaning and purpose of family
Q: So as we sort of come to this topic, AJ., you are a Bible scholar. What immediately comes to mind for you as you think about how Christians can live into this concept of family?
AJ highlights the tension between honoring parents and leaving, and how Scripture supports a broader, covenantal family that includes believers as brothers and sisters, reframing family as a spiritual kinship rather than solely biological ties.
Episode 17: Loud Flame, Still Voice: Rediscovering the stillness of the Charismatic faith
Q: What is a Christian Anyway?
Glenn explains that understanding a Christian involves drawing on 1700 years of church history and a rich inheritance, rather than re-inventing the wheel with contemporary terms; the dialogue emphasizes continuity and reform.
