Excellent depth and breadth of content. I learn something each time I listen.
Thank you Pete.
I love this podcast because like Pete, I came to sailboat racing later in life.
Pete, being endlessly curious, passionate about sailing, and thoughtful, therefore understands what he does not know to be the best he can be, so asks similar questions as I might, as I struggle to be better racer, sailor, skipper, and owner.
Love the podcast. Great insights
Excellent podcast. Kristen Berry and Dawn Riley are 2 of my favorites. Learn something new every time I listen.
Love Sailfaster - I’ve taken away so many useful tips from the chats with top sailors. I keep a notebook next to me when listening! So many sailing podcasts are too general, or feature crusty and boring old guys. Sailfaster is different - I like the self-deprecating vibe the British host brings to the conversation, I suspect it’s disarming and prompts the interviewees to spill their beans on what makes them better racers!

Racing-focused conversations that pair top sailors, coaches, and technologists with practical tactics for improving performance on the water. Across interviews, expect deep dives into race starts, speed, crew dynamics, and mindset, plus behind-the-scenes looks at training pathways, fundraising, and media strategies that broaden participation in offshore and inshore campaigns. A standout element is the blend of technical analysis (GPS starts, boat handling, and aero dynamics) with candid storytelling about leadership, coaching, and building ecosystems to support sailors—making it especially valuable for athletes, crews, coaches, event organizers, and brands serving competitive sailing communities.
