  • My new favorite podcast!

I listen to a lot of podcasts, especially those involving sailing. This one is by far my favorite! Paul’s guests are so diverse and he does a great job of asking insightful questions, as someone who is actually living the lifestyle himself. I always find something that connects with me in every podcast and seeing a new one drop is the highlight of my work week commutes. I’m a supporter on Patreon because, frankly, I pay a lot more money for other media sources that I don’t enjoy nearly as much!

The guest describes a dislocation and recurrent issues that ultimately made continuing impossible, leading to a decision to stop pursuing the GGR and focus on recovery and other sailing endeavors.
Matt Steverson, The Duracell Project, Converting an Offshore Racer to a Fast Family Cruiser
Q: Where are you going to put the generator and how is the space organized?
The generator will sit in a large systems room under the cockpit aft of the boat, close to the battery bank and propulsion motor to minimize cable runs and keep components centralized.
