  • I love sea shanties but….

This is one of my favorite podcast, definitely my favorite sailing pod but Please stop playing all of the sea shanty song at the end. I liked the music at first but bc it’s the same song and the whole 27min of it I can’t take it anymore. I’m doing things when I’m listening and stopping or fast forwarding is not an option always. Try 20 or 30 seconds.

  • I love this show

I’m a long time armchair sailor and I love the variety presented in this show. Andy does such a great job of getting the best out of such a broad range of people and making sailing the most interesting pastime. I think will have to take a trip on one of your boats !! Keep up the good work. X

A desire to sail around the world solo, the inspiration from Robin Knox-Johnston's book.

Sure, I ran away from mountain life as a kid at 18 and bought an old boat to go sailing. I cruised for 20 years with limited success at logging my experiences until we created Sea People.
Mark Sinclair // Captain Coconut Around the World
Q: How do you differentiate between fear and anxiety while sailing solo?
Fear is often associated with panic and is out of control, while anxiety is manageable and can serve as a call to action, helping you focus on tasks at hand.
