Russ & his guests are the perfect comfort. I laugh out loud like I’m with my best friends! Can’t recommend enough
Russell is great at letting you feel like you know him inside out as a listener, and his way of talking to his guests is so warm and friendly that you almost feel like you are part of the conversation instead of just earwigging in on it.
Russell is an open and honest host, and always comes across as genuine in the way he discusses subjects whether it be through niche Coronation Street references or issues that affect a wider community like HIV, grief and loss, and growing up gay. I feel like Rus... more
Love podcasts where its just easy listening, fun and relatable conversation. Its like being in the room with your pals when listening to this poddy (or eavesdropping in on someones convo😂) but its honestly wonderful and a lovely idea - especially during lockdown! Keep it up 💙
No podcast makes me laugh out loud more than this but also cry quite as much! Honestly the perfect remedy at the moment when we’re not seeing anyone - I don’t think any other podcast feels quite as much like you’re in the room with the hosts.
Funny, sad, poignant, enlightening. Glad i found this via a #ItsASin tag on Twitter. Was really cathartic to listen to your teenage years as it took me back to mine to reminisce. Michelle is right, you're good at this
Ok so I’m eating my breakfast and out of no where, the film recommendations start and I was not expecting the one with the, let’s say the mouth, to be talked about and I genuinely laughed out loud.
Your first episode with your housemate was like listening into friends conversation but the mini episode got me!
Thank you Russell! Keep up the good work!!
Such an easy listen. Being the same age I can relate to the memories and join in with the belly laughs :) Russell’s the friend everyone needs x
I don’t normally listen to podcasts but make an exception for this one. Iconic in every sense of the word. Wouldn’t recommend if you have never heard Auntie Mabel’s Marmalade song xx
One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in a while. I need to see a TV remake of your friendship, especially the viagra in the girls drink. Can’t wait for more x
I laughed from beginning to end, a really easy listen and I can’t wait for more !
Thanks Russell x
Really really enjoyed the first episode, can’t wait for more 🥳💕
