Love this show but too much paraphrasing and interrupting on this episode by Anna
This had the potential to be interesting and engaging as a listen but it’s sadly far from it. The contributors’ stories are undermined by the interviewer’s approach. Her poor use of language, endless closed questions and unnecessary comparisons to her own experience make it for me, one to avoid at all costs. It’s a shame, because the bravery of some contributors in telling their stories was impressive.
I enjoy the stories but at times the way the presenter reacts to information by parroting it back in a slightly different way just interrupts the flow. Also…the word ‘catharsisism’ doesn’t exist…it’s just catharsis, makes the presenter sound a bit unprofessional when she says it.
My absolute fav podcast. Anna does a great job in approaching this subject gently but the story feels like it’s always moving forward. Have felt every emotion in this series and if you are emotionally intelligent, you’ll see it for what it is, humans telling human stories.
Some interesting episodes! However It’s hard to hear this podcast properly without it put up to top volume, quality is bad. Can understand the participant sound can’t be controlled. Production value seems low
