  • If you like running and reading…

Two of my passions are running and reading. Clearly this is the podcast for me. Alan and Liz clearly love both reading and running as well. They don’t take themselves too seriously, but are passionate about running and books. I really liked their interview with Andrew Snow of Run Elite in particular. Each time a new episode comes out, it’s a joy to listen to. I’ve purchased a number of books based on their recommendations. Keep up the good work!

What sets this podcast apart is the genuine effort the hosts put into reading and understanding each book they review. And as experienced runners themselves, they offer insightful commentary and practical tips. Alan and Liz’s friendship also shines through in every episode, making it feel like you're having a casual chat over coffee or joining them on a run.

  • One of my favourites

As a keen runner and consumer of running books (albeit mostly in audio book form) running book reviews has become one of my favourite podcast over the last few years. Alan and Liz have great chemistry and are clearly good friends making them come across as very comfortable and genuine. Whenever they have guests on I feel they allow them space to tell their stories and not constantly insert themselves like some hosts can.

Finally I’ve really enjoyed the odd bonus episodes especially the eternal ... more

  • One of my favourite running podcasts

Thanks Liz and Alan for this wonderful content. I’ve learnt a lot from listening to you and your guests. It’s all presented so well. So many other podcasts feel like a waste of time with nonsensical chatter, but yours feels like an investment towards improving my running. I love listening to you on my runs and commutes. Long live the podcast and good luck on your running journeys.
