  • Ulnar nerve

This was one of the first informative episodes. I have experiencing hand numbness, golfers elbow, shoulder burn for the last 4 5 years. My surgeon recommends me getting surgery on elbow. He has not talked about any other sources where nerve issues could be happening. I have an appointment coming up and I will definitely share this with him.

Where Should You Run with Plantar Fasciitis? (Surface, Speed & Hills Explained)
Q: Should camber or slope of the trail affect management of plantar fasciitis?
Camber generally matters less if the runner is injury-free, but if there is a nerve referral component, cambering that stresses the outside of the ankle can provoke symptoms; in true plantar fasciitis, camber is less impactful and depends more on footwear and foot use.
Where Should You Run with Plantar Fasciitis? (Surface, Speed & Hills Explained)
Q: Does speed impact plantar fasciitis symptoms during ascent or descent?
Speed can aggravate symptoms, particularly downhill where gravity increases the demand on the hip extension and trailing limb mechanics; the initial warm-up phase and downhill portions are often when symptoms flare, though some runners may feel better as they warm up.
Where Should You Run with Plantar Fasciitis? (Surface, Speed & Hills Explained)
Q: Does the surface matter when evaluating plantar fasciitis for trail running?
Yes, surface can influence symptom severity, especially for those who are pressure sensitive; rough, embedded rocks tend to worsen symptoms while smoother surfaces like sand may alleviate them, and testing different surfaces can help runners determine what feels best.
Best Trail Running Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis (Cushion, Support
Q: Does the amount of cushioning matter for plantar fasciitis?
Yes, cushioning matters for pressure-sensitive individuals because it helps distribute pressure more evenly and reduce pain, while for others it's largely about personal comfort and what feels natural.
