  • Great Podcast!

I’m a Search & Rescue Volunteer in the U.S. in Oregon. I’m always looking to learn more and hear real experiences. This podcast is the best when it comes to hearing not only from the rescued persons point of view, but also the rescuers. Keep up the great job Caro. Cheers from the U.S.

  • Fantastic Expert Episode

Just listened to the episode with Dr Kate Baecher. What a story and what a lot of learning. Having an expert on has taught me a huge amount. So much more to learn though!

This is an excellent podcast overall, with great production values, and this episode is a standout.

  • Why doesn’t everyone know about this awesome podcast?

It’s literally perfect. Great production —love the narrators voice. Love the stories told.

The only thing I would change is that I would include more (all) actual rescue stories – even if it’s people just rescuing themselves. Please don’t fall in to the mistake that Outdoor Magazine Pod and Out Alive pod made …when they started just profiling & interviewing people —it got so boring.

I hope you make it to the big time because you deserve to!

  • A great story on what happens after you almost died.

This was a great episode, with so many lessons to be learnt. Having had to dig out a buried snow cave entrance by about 4m, I related very much to this episode. I know that moment when you realise that your feet are now at where you started digging and you fully out-stretched arm and shovel still hasn’t broken out into the fresh air! There was four of us in the cave, and we had already dug the entrance out twice during that night, so we weren’t alone, nor as worried about getting out.
