  • This church keeps it real

I’m down in Florida & haven’t found a church I dig as much as Renaissance! When I’m visiting NYC, I make sure my trip falls on a Sunday. The love is tangible when you walk in the building or tune in electronically.

I was getting discouraged in finding a great podcast I was excited to listen to... then God brought me to Jordan! What a joy to listen with humor, humility and grace. I was losing hope, wanting to not live and feeling defeated ... so I thank God for this podcast! Thank you 🙏🏻❤️

  • Luke: Jesus the king

Excellent sermon on the lordship of Jesus. Great chess analogy of whether Jesus is a pawn or king of our lives, and what this looks like living it out. Have listened to several podcasts now and especially love the Philippians series- finding joy- as a settled state of confidence and hope (in Christ), no matter what happens, has renewed my mind and heart to persevere in this journey of life despite the deep pain we are exposed to in this world. Jordan is a pastor who can relate to pain. Many past... more

  • Community of Worship

Renaissance Church NYC is the perfect church for the person who may be thinking, "I don't like church." It's a wonderful church for folks who may feel churched out. It's an amazing church for folks who want to be a member of a community. The Pastors are on point, there's Word centered messages every Sunday and I feel welcomed every time I attend.

Speed Is Killing Your Spiritual Life | Stoop Theology S1 Ep5
Q: Why is slowing down and practicing Sabbath important in a busy urban context?
It restores attention to God, protects against burnout, and reframes work as something that flows from rest rather than consuming it; doing it with a community makes it sustainable and meaningful.
Out of the Water: Ep.3 Jules Webster
Q: When did faith become a part of your life and your journey?
Faith started to become significant after I moved back from Atlanta, especially when my mother had a stroke, which pushed me closer to God.
Stories of Generosity: “In Harlem as it is in Heaven” campaign
Q: What were your thoughts when you first heard about the In Harlem As It Is In Heaven campaign?
Josh reflected that while he understood the importance of raising money for the church, he was excited about the opportunity to develop a community development corporation, emphasizing a selfless approach to community support.
Out of the Water: Ep.2 Corinna Vega
Q: When did your relationship with God start to form? What made it certain for you?
It began to form more deeply after losing my son's father to suicide. I felt the choice between dying spiritually or choosing to live, and I chose to live.
Out of the Water: Ep.2 Corinna Vega
Q: Tell me a little bit about your journey into faith. What did you grow up in the church? Was this, you know, what church did you grow up in?
I grew up in Catholicism. I did my communion while I was in Tampa and my confirmation when I was in New York at Holy Cross.
