導演梁皆得耗時12年拍攝的《飛吧！熊鷹》台灣生態紀錄片，拍片必須克服許多困難，本集邀導演談拍熊鷹的起心動念。而熊鷹，台灣最珍貴稀有的猛禽之一，展翅達160公分，會捕抓山羌、台灣獼猴等動物，因為每年僅生一蛋，育雛十分不易。2003年屏東科技大學孫元勳教授開啟熊鷹的研究，估計全台灣大概只有1000隻左右。全片紀錄熊鷹的生命史，特別是面臨的氣候變遷考驗，更增加育雛的困難度。

染色，真是非常有趣的化學課。自古各地的皇族王族喜歡鮮豔的黃色，是因為不好取得嗎？據說福木是全株可用的黃色來源，還有山黃梔、薑黃，甚至可用在食物染色上。而深灰色系滿常見於素民用色，桑葚和墨水樹，尤其是墨水樹 只要染一次就能呈現深黑色。為什麼鮮豔色彩的蔬果反而不好取得顏色和定色？還有，植物的綠葉並不會是綠色的主要來源，想染成綠色，還得跟藍靛等色齊用才取得綠色。
