This is my favourite show, it is an amazing ralexing technique and Stefan Wolfe has the best voice for the topic of his podcast. It really amazes me how he researches 20-30 minutes of content every week, I use this podcast every night to fall asleep and it works extremely well. Keep up the good work stef’.
Great regards, Owen
Hello! I’ve been a fan of the show for a couple years now. I always tell people if I were good at science, I’d be a zoologist of some kind. But your podcast is very inspirational and informative for me! I love it! 🤗
It also helps me sleep when my anxiety feels big, so I just want to say thank you for doing what you do! If it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to see a Coastal Sea Wolf episode since they’re so unique. 🐺
My sister introduced this podcast to me a while ago, and at first, I sort of made fun of her. What kind of nerd needs animal facts to fall asleep. LOL.... Me. He almost always gives both the metric system and inches/feet/miles, which is very useful for a ... more
Great show great everything
My 10 year old son and I are both neurodivergent and struggle to get to sleep at night. I discovered this podcast and we listened last night. Tonight he asked to listen to the smart man that talks in slow motion again…🤣
The host doesn’t talk in slow motion..he does have a calming voice! And we both enjoy the information immensely as well.
Thank you for keeping it calm and clean!

Calm, sleep-friendly educational pieces centered on a wide range of wildlife, with each episode focusing on a single animal or a small group of creatures. Narration blends natural history, soothing pacing, and occasional audience engagement, often weaving in conservation notes, etymology, and culture while inviting listener feedback and Patreon support. The format is distinctly audience-driven: episodes are requested by listeners, and the host maintains a relaxing, informative tone that appeals to both science lovers and those seeking a tranquil wind-down. Noteworthy elements include a strong emphasis on accessibility (clear explanations, metric and imperial references) and a hobbyist-friendly approach—covering everything from deep-sea dwel... more
