Creative and different but not executed well and the voice acting isn’t good.
My daughter and I love Old time radio and Icebox (all their podcasts shows) are the rare new radio dramas that are absolutely wonderful in so many ways! Keep it up!
Absolutely the BEST podcast I have ever found. While I wait for a new one to drop, I have no problem listening to some of my favorites over and over again!! Keep it up Jeff!
This podcast is fantastic on so so many levels. It’s a mini vacation in the North woods with every episode.
I really enjoy the satire sprinkled throughout the episodes. They're not the main focus, but stand out like sparkling snowflakes on fresh fallen snow. The setting of Icebox, MN, is really charming and reminds me of the "The Mask of Inanna". It's a special town, with mysteries all over the place. :)
It has comedy. It has horror. It has touching stories. It has Sci-Fi stories.
And it's the most charming station on the air.
This has been one of the most entertaining things I have listened to on iTunes! Awesome story and great characters. Can't wait to see what else is to come!
Some very funny stories, some good suspense stories,
and other good stories, all set farther North than you're
ever likelier to get
(though it did seem a bit tacky when they started trying to
hitch their wagon to "Welcome to Night Vale"'s success).
The new releases are the highlights of my month. Fun to listen to, fun quirky characters, interesting storyline. This series has it all!
I enjoy this podcast and audio theater. The writing is good, the acting is great! If only for a little while it takes me away from the humdrum real world. You become invested with the world the actors are bringing to life.
A new and different direction for ICEBOX moving away from a more anthology based format Good ensemble cast, fresh storyline over arching a rehash of old shows. Somewhat derivative but what isn't these days?
the storyline is a mixture of off the wall with an underlying menace from who knows where, FCC, Aliens,Men in Black or The Netherworld. Time will tell we hope! The only improvement might be inserting new material rather than recycling older stuff. Keep up the great work.
So much fun to listen. Always anticipate new shows and listen as soon as I get them in my feed. Thanks!
