I feel so deeply sad that Cherry Bombe has decided to give a platform to someone like Eden Grinshpan- a woman that has made a whole career off of cultural appropriation and erasure of the Palestinian people. I loved Cherry Bombe so much, but to platform Eden so many times is unacceptable. Do better Kerry!
Delightful, love show
Very disappointed that a show I normally love and which seems to celebrate diversity would platform Eden, whose erasure of Palestinian people and their cuisine is so unabashed. I was going to give the channel the benefit of the doubt, but then Kerry mentioned she follows her on instagram, which is where she has spewed hateful rhetoric against Palestinians. Fantastic podcast. Informative, fascinating and Kerry D. asks great, insightful questions AND gives the guest uninterrupted time to answer. Thank you.
I feel so deeply sad that Cherry Bombe has decided to give platforms to women like Eden Grinshpan- a woman that has a made a whole career off of cultural appropriation and erasure. This really put a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think I can go back to listening to Cherry Bombe or She’s My Cherry Pie. Do better Kerry!
