The guests are great, and I love the idea of the podcast, but Jessie could let them talk more. It really bothers me that she seems to know everything and wants to tell their stories more than she lets them speak. Great to do some research before having them on, but unnecessary to say it all.
I love this podcast. It’s a great mix of professionals and self-taught bakers, and Jessie’s enthusiasm for each topic is infectious. She is fantastic at navigating the conversation between very technical information and candid conversations with the guests. It’s become one on of the pods I look forward to each week!
Really disappointed with the last episode. I’m listening to a baking podcast because I like baking. Being told that I can eat “a little something sweet” but only if it’s “seasoned with sugar” like you’d season with salt and only a BITE OF A COOKIE???? I get that sugar isn’t the best for you. But I don’t appreciate the condescension around food on a BAKING PODCAST.
I thoroughly enjoy your interviews but this one with Sally was wonderful. I have been following n using Sally’s recipes for years. She is my go to website when I am looking for a recipe. I love the details she includes with each recipe she has taught me so much over the years. My daughter just gave us a few banana muffins she made and they were so good yep she got the recipe off Sally’s website. Thks for such a great podcast
I love Jessie and I love the formula of this show! It’s inspired me to bake beyond my routine. I hope they do an Angel Food Cake episode one day!
