  • Disappointing

I have had to unfollow this podcast. The guests and topics are great and interesting but unfortunately Lisa talks way too much and guests don't get much time to tell their story or share their expertise. She constantly interrupts and tells her stories (again) - to me this is not the purpose of a podcast.

  • Actionable, informative

I’m not even sure how I stumbled into this podcast, but I’m thankful I did. The guests she has on her show are reputable, scientific, experts in their field. There’s often so much content to absorb that I listen to the same episode 2-3 times. Lisa herself is genuine and well prepared to interview her guests. As an internal medicine nurse practitioner I’ve seen over and over the damaging affects of “reactionary medicine” rather than preventive medicine. This is a reputable source for health educa... more

Reverse Alzheimers with Dr Dave Jenkins
Q: Can you tell us briefly who Dr. Bredesen is, why his research has been pivotal in Alzheimer's and neurodegenerative space, and what the PTALS 217 research is about?
Dr. Dale Bredesen is a research neurologist who spent decades in the lab exploring why brain cells die in Alzheimer's and developed a functional, precision medicine approach. His process focuses on identifying and addressing 30-60 underlying perturbations rather than chasing a single target, and his work includes substantial clinical data showing cognitive improvements in early decline with a multi-modal protocol; the PTAl 217 (P-tau-217) biomarker advances allow earlier diagnosis and monitoring of treatment response.

Building the Future of Bitcoin Payments with Brandon Bucher
