  • Absolutely Brilliant!

As an aspiring author, this show provides me with a plethora of information on writing and the publishing process. I originally found Amie on her other podcast, Amie Kaufman on Writing and followed that for a while. I am a little late to the party on getting into the podcast but this definitely fills in gap that is my usually long and boring commute to work via buses every morning. It’s so nice to get on and hear Amie and Kate discuss their books and listen to all the excitement in their voice a... more

  • Devoured upon discovery

What a delightful series! The conversation between writing friends at different places in their careers is charming. Special guest interviews add to the insider feel; I’ve been learning a lot on the journey with Amie and Kate. (BTW - no discernible issues with the podcast sound quality for me.)

  • My happy-place podcast

I am so grateful for this show. Amie and Kate are generous, unpretentious and thoughtful in their approach to sharing their publication process. It is immensely encouraging to hear a "behind the scenes" show about writing that feels inviting, rather than exclusive (which is a rare tone to strike in the publishing world!) Please - if you are interested in writing, in YA, authors, or simply enjoy hearing two friends talking about creativity - give this show a shot. It’s my personal extra dopamine ... more
