Shelby and Matt (chained to the fireplace) are back to discuss/bark about the new Wuthering Heights adaptation from Emerald Fennell. Is it a good adaptation? No. But is it fun? Also no. But does it have an interesting point of view? No, again. BUT is... more
Shelby and Matt are using all their best pop girl knowledge to unpack Charli XCX's new film The Moment (which may or may not be about Taylor Swift). There's plenty to unpack, including the cameos, the fans, and Charli's career post-Brat.
Matt and Shelby revel in Sam Raimi's latest horror comedy, Send Help. If these two got stuck on a desert island it would probably go something like this anyways.

All the pop culture news you need to know! Really enjoy Shelby and Matt’s dynamic - came here after Shelby wrapped up her Swiftish podcast and I share the same journey as her in terms of TS parasocial fandom. We’ve all evolved 😁 we all got crowns!
Okay I have beef with Matthew! How could you not mention Agent Cody Banks on the episode about pop culture that shaped you! Hello 😂 from being a long time listener I remember it all too well. Had to throw in a T Swift lyric for some extra shade. 🤣 But seriously - you both are amazing and I laugh every week and look forward to hearing you both. It feels like listening to 2 old friends catch me up on all things going on. I will say on your remark about needing more guests and trying harder I dis... more
I found this podcast through swiftish and they are always two of the bright spots in my week! It makes me sad when the hosts apologize for bringing the “b.s. news” bc I listen to plenty of political/religion/law podcasts and this one is such a nice change of pace!
as a teen this podcast always gets me through the school week! shelby and matt always have funny and interesting things to say about pop culture. i can’t tell if you’re joking about the pod ending after shelby moves, but i’m begging you to keep it going! after finding you through swiftish, i’ve been a listener for three years and listened to many episode numerous times. also, i have to mention that i think matt is secretly a huge swiftie. the taylor episodes with ashley are some of my favorites!... more
