I’ve been listening to Vanessa’s podcast throughout my pregnancy, and it’s been such a comforting and informative resource. I emailed her asking to do a Q&A on hepatitis b given to newborns within 24 hrs-and she did! The episode was so thoughtful and helpful. Vanessa explains things in such a clear way that makes me feel calmer and confident in my decisions as a first time mom. I’m so grateful for the thought and care she puts into each episode.
This is only a 30 minute episode and 10 minutes of it is ads. Not a whole lot of in depth information for the time spent and the giant ad breaks.
I listened to this podcast as I felt like it could be informative while I go through my first pregnancy, but WOW. The episode I listened to was mostly ads and information that was sort of a given? I get the need for sponsors but I’m not willing to sift through half an episode of ads for a kernel of interesting information.
As a partner looking to learn more about what to expect, how to plan, and how to support my wife, this podcast helps me feel way more comfortable and informed. Really appreciate how she strives to promote information with fact based research and takes an unbiased approach. Its free so I dont mind the ads. Easy to hit that skip 15 sec button. This podcast is a great resource.
Hate to say it but someone reading articles, studies , research in a monotone voice with no interviews or changes of tone. Every episode i was falling asleep from boredom. Love the idea of research based information . But i might as well read these article sonny own . Will be looking for something more interactive and intriguing to keep me listening
