Hate to say it but someone reading articles, studies , research in a monotone voice with no interviews or changes of tone. Every episode i was falling asleep from boredom. Love the idea of research based information . But i might as well read these article sonny own . Will be looking for something more interactive and intriguing to keep me listening
Love this podcast. It’s thorough and discusses the research, limitations of what can be researched, and the nuances of how to interpret a recommendation given to the masses for you, the individual (eg ACOG will always recommend the most conservative approach for liability, and what this means practically for you). I feel like this podcaster has the well-being of the birthing parent first, and I appreciate that!
There is a wealth of knowledge delivered in the podcast, but it’s a bit difficult to follow with all of the mouth noises. There are also a significant amount of mistakes in the voiceover that are just left in the final edit - to the point where things already said are repeated instead of edited out. I think maybe the edits will be better if I subscribe, but it makes me hesitate to pay without knowing for sure that these audio imperfections and edits have been resolved.
I really wanted to listen to this but couldn't get through 10 minutes. The (ditzy?) sing-song lilt of the host, clearly bored and reading a script, is grating at best, obnoxious if you try to listen to more than 1 episode.
Reminds me of a whale watch tour operator.
