  • SO helpful!

LOVE Laila’s take on all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum – her episode "17 things no one tells you about postpartum beforehand" is informative, thorough, and well worth a listen - knowledge is power and I'd rather be prepared for all the possibilities!

If you’re looking for a conversation on understanding what a Doula does, check out episode "What is a doula + postpartum tips with Maggie" – lots of helpful, accurate information. And just a great episode too!

  • Love this podcast!

Well, needless to say I’m one of those moms or future moms that just need everything laid out for me before I can move forward. I’m so excited to say that my husband and I are now trying to conceive our first baby. There’s been ups and downs of learning, but I’ve been so grateful to have this podcast and educate me for what I have to look forward to. Not gonna lie I’ve probably listened to all of your podcasts at least once if not some of them twice. Grateful to be where I am now and can’t wait ... more

  • Like listening to a good friend!

I started listening to Learning to Mom when I found out I was pregnant. I gave birth 4 weeks ago and I can’t thank Laila enough for all the information, guidance and good energy. I believe knowledge is power and didn’t want to go into my first birth uneducated. Beyond the amazing guests and information, Laila’s temperament and positive attitude helped keep me calm through the anxieties of Pregnancy. Im so grateful that I can continue to listen to all the postpartum episodes as well.
