Love this podcast! I’m six weeks postpartum and as someone who doesn’t have friends in the same season of motherhood it’s been so nice finding your podcast to relate with! I love learning about ways to support our child’s development and flourish as a mom!
If you want to learn about all things motherhood from the Laila’s perspective of “is this the best thing for you and baby or just a cultural norm?” You will love this podcast. I have never really been around babies so it gave me so much more confidence about different subjects. She picks subjects to interview about that I think are super helpful... more
I listened to the first season when I was a new mom and I thought it was helpful however I think the topics going forward are a little bit out of my area of preference. I was at C-section mama, formula fed, daycare, no birth plan (go with the flow and what’s best) and working parent. I think this podcast really is catering more to breastfeeding, organic natural , anti vax, birth plans and stay at home mamas! I think it’s great for those kind of mamas but that’s just not me :)

Or maybe they do, but we don’t get to hear it because the host admits she cuts out 30-45 minutes of “some of the best parts” of each interview and puts it behind a paywall. She claims it’s for the algorithm, but I still think it’s all an odd thing to say. I know she needs ... more
