Prayer Pod takes you through a brief, guided time of prayer using poetry and the movement of music as guides. Each episode features original compositions and poems (often read by the poets themselves). Prayer can take many forms. Words whispered before bed as you drift off to sleep or screamed out of sheer frustration while driving alone in your car. Prayer can be silence, or movement, or song. So... more

Prayer Pod is a short, guided prayer session of meditative practice, poetry, and music.
Something about the combination of the words and the music immediately cut through all of the noise and went straight to my heart.
Wise, calming, and approachable, the brief meditations in Prayer Pod invite the listener to breathe deeply and reflect on brief verses from poets like James Baldwin, Ursula Le Guin, and Li-Young Lee. We consider prayer to be like the sun shining on a field, an ever-present power that is helping us grow, without special effort or insight. Rest, my dears, in prayer.
Prayer Pod always brings me a few minutes of much needed calm. The poems are well-curated and I love the non-traditional approach to prayer and spirituality.
Poems that are relevant and poignant. I love thinking about poetry as prayer.
Timely pod. Timely church. Approachable and thoughtful digital services during COVID.
The music alone is worth a listen. This is a great thing to turn on while on a walk to slow down and take a pause from the chaos in the world. Really great to have poems (read by the poets themselves!) as a springboard for reflection, centering and prayer.
A welcomed pause to breathe, reflect, and find freedom in what prayer can be. Also loving the range of music and poetry selection!
Amazing!!! A+++. Would def recommend.
