The Poldark Fancast is expanding into a whole network of podcasts on your favourite period drama shows!
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the ninth and final episode of season three. This episode was insane, there were French invasions, riots, cheating and gaslighting. Through it all, Ross kept brooding by the ocean. He's nothing... more
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the eighth episode of season three. This episode was a complete wash out for fans of monogamy. But if you enjoy emotional turmoil, twirling Emma's and peeping tom's than this was the episode fo... more
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the seventh episode of season three. This episode started off with a party and went down hill from there with of depictions of sexual assault, tragic deaths and *shudder* bowling.
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the sixth episode of season three. This episode was filled to the brim with toad related escapades, Ross fixing other peoples problems and so so so so much morweanna and drake nonesense that it... more
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the fifth episode of season three. This episode Ross sets out to rescue Dwight from a French prison in what turns out to truly be a low point for the shows ability to string together a plot tha... more
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the fourth episode of season three. This episode Ross and Demelza save all of Cornwall from starvation and Drake and Morwenna had zero chill. Warning: much pointing out of plot holes, may break... more
We are back with another commentary track, this time for the third episode of season three. This episode featured a classic Ross Poldark adventure in "France?" and meanwhile the women were relegated to growing babies and sitting around and waiting. F... more
...and the presenters are excellent company. Highly recommended for all those who love our period dramas (humanely) deconstructed. And if you're reading this, hosts, I'm still hoping for those 2015 fan commentaries! :)
I’ve been listening to this podcast for two years and I always look forward to new episodes. Rita and Michelle are hilarious and listening to their conversations about Poldark and period dramas is like listening to friends. Always fun and diverting!
I love the podcast. You gals made suffering through Ross’s constant idiocy and Sam Carne’s, well, existence, bearable and even fun!
While you are trying out and podcasting about period pieces during quarantine, have you watched Belgravia? Pretty good. Great cast. Some interesting history mixed in as background too.
PS: Enjoyed Sanditon, even if the ending was Game of Thrones-ish. :))

Really funny, yet deep and insightful chat, commentary, analysis and general constructive discussions on Poldark that’s sometimes laced with a touch of sarcasm and a few jokes thrown in too. This is a MUST LISTEN for the Poldark fans who love the Poldark books and TV and like an entertaining discussion which doesn’t just scratch the surface. There are episode discussions as well as book discussions on characters, chapters, themes and much more than you might think.
Also includes listener intera... more
These ladies do this podcast purely for the love of all things Poldark. I can’t imagine the amount of work that goes into churning these things out! Whether it’s the current series, the books, the 1970s series, and even the scripts-they have a staggering amount of knowledge and passion!
I am so glad I came (albeit) late to this party. I too love all things Poldark and listening and participating has been a blast. They welcome comments and questions and you feel as if you are a part of a tight... more
It’s not much of a conversation when 1 person talks over everybody else. The one loudmouthed lady makes this podcast unbearable. She needs to be by herself as she doesn’t understand co-hosting.
If you are interested in the Poldark saga in any way, shape or form this the place for you. From the in detailed breakdown of the current Poldark saga, to the watch and share format of the 1975/77 version, to the thought provoking discussions of the first 7 books. These ladies are smart, insightful and oh so funny! This podcast is not to be missed!!
Hi. I just subscribed to this podcast the same week I saw the data I’ll share below.
I loved the format of your show and especially the list of deleted or omitted scenes.
Maybe the info below was just fresh in my memory, but I was completely distracted by the monopolization of the male voice that actually only constitutes 1/3 of your group.

I have listened to you since you all started. Really enjoyed your comments about the series. Ladies you are wonderful and devoted to this show and doing this podcast is not easy, so much hard work. 👍
Thanks from San Francisco. Now to get myself to Cornwall and take that tour from Karen.
This is a fun podcast. I spontaneously laugh out loud all the time listening to it. All three of the hosts are wonderful and their chemistry is great the sound quality has much improved.
I love this in depth look at all things Poldark! The ladies are funny and interesting and always have thoughtful points of view. So glad to find a podcast that also talks about the book series. I do wish the sound quality was more even but this show is still great fun to listen to. Keep up the great work ladies!
I enjoy this show but I do wish the team would stop speaking in hashtags! I find it really annoying. Apart from that it's quite good.
Warm, funny analysis of the show with hosts who have great chemistry.
Just discovered your Podcast this week and am enjoying it so much. Especially loved listening to ‘the incident’ episode from season 2 as your observations were so like mine. Thanks so much!!
I really wanted to like this podcast. I have fallen in love with Poldark as well and would love to hear plot summary and discussion on this wonderful adaptation. However, the differing sound quality of the three podcasters, the lame snide remarks, the weird noises made and the awkward commentary made this a no-go for me. It's just too amateur and annoying. Sorry!
