No objectivity. Deliberate misinterpretation of Scripture. Don’t waste your time.

  • Disappointed

I’ve been a follower of POV radio for years. Always been an advocate of the show. Unfortunately, in recent years, I’ve noticed how Kerby has justifiably harshly criticized the right when it’s called for. Kerby, however, has grown extremely weak when criticizing and condemning obvious illegal and unconstitutional acts from the left. It saddens me to see that Kerby is taking this route. It’s gotten to the point that I would rather listen to all the other guests and speakers rather than Kerby.... more

  • Trustworthy and Insightful

I’ve been listening to Point of View since it was originally hosted by Robert Marlin Maddoux. Kirby Anderson does a superb job in keeping with the original approach Marlin Maddoux brought to the show when he was still alive.

That being said, Point of View is a wonderful resource for all things current events, biblical values, and intellectual discussions that doesn’t shy away from those topics and struggles inherent in our culture. Kirby...keep fighting the good fight, and keep sharing truth!!... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Point of View April 20, 2026 – Hour 1 : Endowed by Our Creator
Q: What is the connection between scientific racism in the 19th century and the decline of belief in universal human equality as proclaimed in the Declaration?
West describes how post-Declaration debates, especially with Darwin, ushered in ideas of racial hierarchies and eugenics, challenging the Declaration's claim of equality and gradually leading to a Scientocracy where experts justify authority apart from popular consent.
Point of View April 20, 2026 – Hour 1 : Endowed by Our Creator
Q: Let's talk about this idea of America's founding. First of all, people are going to enjoy reading this because not only do you give us some of the history of the Declaration on America 250, but you've got lots of great pictures, some of which I've seen, many that I have not, which talk about the significance of the Declaration of Independence.
West explains that the Declaration grounds political legitimacy in universal moral truths rooted in a Creator, which, along with the Constitution, provides the framework for consent of the governed and just government; he argues that many modern critiques misinterpret the founders' intent and overlook the natural theology that underpinned early American science and politics.
Point of View April 17, 2026 : Weekend Edition
Q: What are the concerns raised about the FACE Act in the DOJ report and how does that impact advocacy?
The discussion highlights perceived selective enforcement and entrapment concerns, stressing the need for accountability and equal protection under the law for religious activities around clinics and faith spaces.
Point of View April 17, 2026 : Weekend Edition
Q: Can you summarize why Groff is seen as a turning point for religious freedom in the workplace?
Groff restored a standard that requires employers to accommodate religious beliefs where feasible, marking a significant revival of protection against undue workplace burdens on faith practices.
Point of View April 16, 2026 – Hour 1 : Waiting
Q: What biblical examples best illustrate patient waiting and its outcomes?
Stories like Joseph's years of waiting before leadership, David's years before becoming king, Simeon's encounter with Jesus in the temple, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer's perseverance under oppression show that waiting can produce readiness and deeper faith.
