  • Sloppy drunk Jim

I support and generally love this show but please stop releasing episodes where Jim is so sloppy drunk that he’s slurring and obnoxiously repeating himself…

  • A vote for Jim

Great podcast, especially all the times when Jim opens his holy mouth. His voice is just the right volume for my ears and everything he says makes me think he must have had a doctorate, at one point. 10/10, especially Jim.

#431: Award Winning Imposter Syndrome, Ignoring the News
Q: How can I balance staying informed with not feeling overwhelmed by world news?
The panel suggests a mix: stay informed enough to be responsible, but create a mental boundary. Use concise sources, limit doom scrolling, and allow yourself a 'happy place' retreat. If action is possible, do something concrete; otherwise, give yourself permission to disengage and protect your sanity.

Q: When should someone in a long-term relationship consider breaking up?
The panel agrees it depends on whether there has been sustained effort to address issues, whether the person remains invested, and whether the relationship continues to meet basic needs and values; therapy is suggested as a step before breaking up.
