I enjoy the lens provided by all of the hosts with the varying POVs. With that being said ….many comments and assessments of the current state are devoid of actual ability to be achieved in a country where Black & Brown people only represent 14% of the population. So passionately advocating for far left concepts seem intellectually legitimate….but concurrently unrealistic without the non-black & brown communities allow it. So…good convo. Not actionable in any way.
I was a big fan of the show because it was smart, had substance, and the hosts were fun and relatable. While it's still smart and deals with topics of substance, the tone is completely different now. The loss of Kaya and her wise, pragmatically positive spirit can't be overstated. She provided a thoughtful, grounded voice that is sorely missed. One of the hosts is tripling down on hyper-cynical nothing matters vibes... and it's not enlightening or entertaining.
