Pretty good stories. Told by Pete. This podcast features creative nonfiction audio stories written by Pete Brown. They're pretty good stories, solidly GenX, works of memoir steeped in nostalgia. From a suburban Cleveland childhood in the 1970s and 80s up through today's modern parenting dilemmas, these stories are funny, poignant and a great listen.

A years-long ebay quest for a specific cap has me wondering why we hang on to negative stories. Plus, a mini-history of the long defunct Cleveland Barons and the kind of shit that went down on school buses in the 1970s and 80s.

Pete takes you on an emotional journey each episode that you didn’t know you were missing in your life! His unique perspective and personality add layers of interest to every story. And his dry, self-deprecating humor makes me laugh out loud. Good times, indeed!
Best thing since Jesus Christ’s resurrection
Very interesting storytelling! I love the personal nature of this podcast. Great production value! The narrator and host is very endearing. There's always room for another great storytelling podcaster! I love the incorporation of listeners submissions on topics! Can't wait for season 2!
Love the audio quality, and I love the fact that I actually feel your struggle with going through the process of buying a tired through CostCo. While, I almost totally disagree with your view on costco, and the sales industry, I don't think that was necessarily your point. I don't have to agree with what you're saying, in order to be ok with the show itself. I'd give it another listen, as they're stories from your past, so I'm sure there is plenty of interesting stories!
Pete has a way of making small stories seem bigger. I love hearing from him and the call-in messages he has! The podcast has a very NPR vibe but more personal.
