  • Great dispy podcast

I love hearing the banter between Marsh and Day. I’m not a dispensationalist like they are, but they have sound theological conversations centered on Christ. I appreciate their voices and their humility.

  • Great Podcast

Great blend of a pastoral heart and theological precision. Theologically correct, especially the Catholic episode.

  • Recent podcast on Catholicism filled with error

It saddens me to hear the errors in this podcast. If this church had any integrity they would invite a legitimate Catholic who knows what the Catholic Church teaches to share and explain those teachings (some potential names Dr Scott Hahn, Jimmy Akin, Joe Heschmeyer, Trent Horn, Tim Staples - contact Catholic Answers at catholic.com if you’re serious about doing this right). Instead it relies on someone who misrepresents those teachings; either through ignorance or purposeful malfeasance.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP 42 | Why Theology Matters in Missions
Q: Why focus on language groups as unreached targets?
Language is portrayed as the major barrier to the gospel; understanding and engaging language groups is essential to conveying biblical concepts accurately and ensuring the gospel is heard in the intended way, with translation and literacy supporting that process.
EP 44 | Should Churches Downplay the Topic of Suffering
Q: What should pastors emphasize to balance blessing and suffering?
pastors should emphasize that blessings are both spiritual and physical in a measured sense, but ultimate blessing is spiritual, while physical blessings are not guaranteed and must be stewarded for God's glory.
EP 44 | Should Churches Downplay the Topic of Suffering
Q: Should churches downplay the topic of suffering, especially to attract people?
No. Suffering is a biblical norm; pastors should acknowledge hardship, teach its role in sanctification, and point believers to God's sovereignty and joy in endurance.
