ನಾನು ನಾನೇ ಆಗಿ. ಈ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲೆ ಬೇರೊತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಬೀಗಿ

ತಲೆಯೆತ್ತುವುದಿದೆ ನೋಡಿ
ಅದು ಬಲುಕಷ್ಟದ ಕೆಲಸ.
ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ಮತ್ತರಾದ
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಡಿತ ಕುಣಿತ ಕೂಟಗಳು
ಕೆಣಕಿ ಎಸೆದಿದ್ದರೂ
ಪಂಚೇಂದ್ರಿಯಕ್ಕೆ ಲಗಾಮು ಜಡಿದು ಜಾರದ... more
ಮಾತು ಬರುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮಾತಾಡುವುದು ಬೇಡ;
ಒಂದು ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಅರ್ಥವುಂಟು.
ಎದುರಿಗಿರುವವ ಕೂಡ ಮಾತ ಬಲ್ಲವ ಗೆಳೆಯ;
ಬರಿದೆ ಆಡುವ ಮಾತಿಗರ್ಥವಿಲ್ಲ.
ಕಡಲ ತಟಿಯಲಿ ತರುಣ ಬಲೆಯ ಬೀಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ;
ಮೀನು ಬೇಳುವ ತನಕ ಕಾಯ ಬೇಕು.
ಮೀನ ಹೊರೆಯನು ಹೊತು ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ;

ಹಸಿರು ಬಯಲಿಗೆ ದೀಪ ;
ಹುಲಿಯ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ದೀಪ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ;
ಮುತ್ತು ಕಡಲಿಗೆ ದೀಪ,
ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ದೀಪ,
ಗ್ರಹತಾರೆಗಳ ದೀಪ ಬಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ.
ಬಲ್ಮೆ ತೋಳಿಗೆ ದೀಪ ;
ದುಡಿಮೆ ಬೆವರಿನ ದೀಪ ;
ಸಹನೆ ಅನುಭವ - ದೀಪ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ;

ನಾನು ಹಚ್ಚುವ ಹಣತೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವೆಂಬ ಭ್ರಾಂತಿ ನನಗಿಲ್ಲ,
ಹಣತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತೇನೆ ನಾನೂ;
ಈ ಕತ್ತಲಿನಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಡೆದೇನೆಂಬ
