  • Longtime listener

I continue to learn so much from this podcast! It’s been hugely helpful to me over the past several years to understand, heal, and manage my hamstring issues.

  • Never reviewed anything

I’ve never written a review before. I started running in high school and was a dancer as well. I developed what I called a ‘nagging hamstring thing’ in high school that, while annoying, didn’t stop me from continuing to run, getting into marathons and racing, until two marathons in one month finally made it clear that my hamstring thing was getting worse. I have seen no fewer than ten professionals, from PTs to chiropractors to osteopaths and various others, never given a proper diagnosis and al... more

  • Great podcast

This podcast helped me overcome proximal hamstring tendonitis, pointed me toward other great resources and papers and Brodie does a good job of bringing on various specialists that update current thinking on tendonitis such as how Heavy Slow Resistance (HSR) training is king, more-so than eccentrics alone. 3 seconds up, 1 sec pause, 3 seconds down for injury prevention and rehab is very important. Always going 1-1-3 for strength/ hypertrophy can lead to missing out on the restorative signaling/s... more

  • PRICELESS resource for PHT Battlers!

HOW have I been struggling with PHT for almost 10 years and only just discovered the Overcoming PHT podcast this week?? 🤯🤯🤯 I’m going through all the episodes and am up to #25 and plan to invest in the 4-week course as well. I’m relating to SO much of the content and have already benefited from some of the strategies to change the way I sit to reduce compression. In my experience, PHT doesn’t get nearly enough attention in the PT/sports medicine/orthopedics community, especially considering h... more

  • Thank you for this show!

I’m just over a year having PHT. I am very fortunate to have had somewhat of a diagnosis and have had PRP. I’m hopeful with PT and this podcast that I will be able to again run someday. I wouldn’t wish PHT on too many people!!
