The electoral college “discussion” left much to be desired. I was really interested in seeing a comparison of two different perspectives and there was no effort to have them equally reflected/articulated. Crash and burn. Bummer.
“Let’s hear both sides on the Electoral College. Arguing for is a reasonably informed guy who’ll take potshots at Democrats then urge us all to stop taking potshots at each other, then take another potshot. Arguing against is my cousin, who hasn’t had breakfast yet. As soon as I explain to him what the Electoral College is, saying Nevada when I mean Nebraska, I’ll get his opinion, which, it turns out, is now in favor. I hope we all learned something today.”
Probably best for kids with minimal knowledge of the issues. You’ll learn some stuff here, but not to any great depth.

Amazing
Luke nails the whole “seeking to understand” concept right on the head. After every episode I feel more informed on not only the topic, but some of the different opinions and views on the matter. There’s no bickering or arguing like you see on TV or hear on the radio. It’s a civil, respectful conversation with the sole intent of bringing those in the dark, toward an unbiased light. I enjoy listening and I look forward to every week!
Great podcast! Feels good to have a voice on important topics that are hard to talk about on college campus!
Friend told me about podcast, sounds great, good host and amazing intro!
I feel in love with these shoes the minute I saw them. I was a little skeptical whether they would fit me or not, but I do own a pair of Keds, so I went with the same sizing as the ones I own. They arrived in a very good condition, and the shoes were just as pictured. The watermelon seeds are made out of thread and they are sewn onto the shoe, with I find really nice. A little bit of thread was loose at the end of two of the seeds, but it was fine after clipping them away. The shoes come with tw... more
