I have listened to many of your podcasts and I have tried several of your products at Paleo Valley. Everything is great. I am excited to be a part of your future endeavors and where they take us. I was diagnosed with MS several years ago. Can you think about doing an episode on this autoimmune disorder? Thank you so much.

  • Good topics, good content, positive vibes, and intention to find truth.

I wish the audio quality were better! These people need better microphones. Also, the conversations could be edited significantly. Trim it down to the helpful bits, please. Not all of us have time for an hour-long conversation when there are like two pieces of valuable information especially with audio quality like this.

The Surprising Link Between Regenerative Farming, Keto, and Metabolic Health with Dr. Eric Berg
Q: How do you approach keto for different populations, including women?
He describes a flexible approach that prioritizes core eating, with keto and intermittent fasting as powerful tools but adjustable per individual needs, particularly around hormones in women.
Rethinking Saturated Fat and Healthy Aging with Dr. Stephanie Venn-Watson
Q: Should people replace all saturated fats with C-15-rich sources, or how should they approach intake?
The data suggest a balance—not all saturated fats are equal, and maintaining a minimum C-15 level (about 0.2% of fatty acids) appears important; high-quality sources like certain cheeses and fish skin, along with targeted supplementation when needed, may help achieve this threshold.
Rethinking Saturated Fat and Healthy Aging with Dr. Stephanie Venn-Watson
Q: What exactly is C-15 doing in the cell membranes to protect against aging?
C-15 acts as a stabilizing brick in cell membranes, reducing lipid peroxidation, strengthening membranes against oxidative stress, and helping prevent ferroptosis, which collectively supports healthier aging and better metabolic function.
The Supplement Industry Is Lying To You with Robyn Openshaw - Green Smoothie Girl
Q: Why is cholecalciferol often misrepresented as vitamin D, and what are the concerns?
Cholecalciferol is derived from by-products of the sheep industry and through multiple chemical processes; Openshaw argues it is not a vitamin in the traditional sense and may not provide the health benefits it's marketed for, raising concerns about its true nature and safety.
The Supplement Industry Is Lying To You with Robyn Openshaw - Green Smoothie Girl
Q: What sparked Robyn Openshaw to write a deeper dive into the supplement industry?
She describes spending weekends immersed in research, using meta-analyses and primary studies to understand what these 'white pills' actually tell us, and she was motivated by a sense that many supplements are not delivering the promised benefits.
