Welcome to One Star Bazaar a weekly podcast where husband and wife, Jonathan and Molly, review the movies critics hated in search of the unfairly underrated. We think it's time for a different take on film critique, between our differing views and using our simplified review criteria, can we agree if a critically panned movie is watch-worthy? New episodes Tuesdays on your favorite podcast platform... more

We review the Netflix Original team up between Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds.
Jonathan loves Hellboy the comic/graphic novel series, this week we discuss the cinematic reboot Hellboy (2019).
This week we review the 5th collaboration between Peter Berg and Mark Walhberg, Spenser Confidential, a Netflix Original movie loosely based on the book "Wonderland" by Ace Atkins.
We discussed this film's predecessor on Everything I Learned From Movies and Jonathan really wanted to know what happens next so we're reviewing the sequel Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem.
This week I bring you another Molly's Minisode. I love garbage movies, critics REALLY hated this one, let's see if Fantasy Island (2020) is a dream come true or a living nightmare.
Jonathan is out of town and that means Molly's Minisodes is back! This week I rant about Skybound an airplane disaster movie that hardly any critics reviewed, Metacritic thinks doesn't exist, and has a made-up word for a title.
This week we review the latest attempt at bringing the character of Dr. Dolittle to the big screen starring Marvel's darling Robert Downey Jr.
This week we review a superhero movie based on an old timey radio show based on a pulp comic from the 1930's, The Shadow.
I love listening to review podcasts and this one is no exception. Please don't waste your time watching critically low-rated movies, instead you should listen to this podcast. I promise it will be a better use of your time lol
These two are so fun, I listened to A View To A Kill episode. I'm laughing along with the hosts and can not wait to listen to more episodes, well done.
Great podcast with solid content each week! you want movie talk w/no nonsense? This is your show! Start listening!
One Star Bazaar has such a unique and refreshing concept! In the sea of movie podcasts, this is definitely one you’ll want to stop and check out!
This is such a great concept. And I’ve definitely been that person who has checked a Rotten Tomato score and was like: really—that low!? The hosts are really funny and they choose movies from lots of different genres. It’s a good time!
They take movies that received bad reviews and give them a second chance. The hosts are great, entertaining as hell, and they give views on movies that I haven't even considered before. I'm so glad I found this show and I totally think you should check them out too!
I am a sucker for podcasts about terrible movies. Heck, I run one myself and have sat on panels about this stuff because, well, terrible movies are a joy in their own unique, painful way!
So One Star Bazaar is right up my alley when it comes to podcasts about things I like! The hosts are great together (Jonathan and Molly FTW) and the movies they cover run the gamut from that movie you totally know is terrible to that unsung hero of the 1-star B-flick. You'll find exactly what you're looking fo... more
One Star Bazaar takes the concept of film critical analysis and turns it on its head. The premise of re-evaluating panned movies is simple yet creative and enjoyable. The hosts have wonderful chemistry, and it’s just plain fun to listen to. It’s a perfect alternative to more self serious or critical movie shows. Give them a listen and subscribe!
Such a great idea for a podcast. The host review movies that have been reviewed badly by critics and reveal their feelings on it. It’s like an experiment and is a nice second look at specific films. Really enjoyed it.
I love how this podcast takes great care in showing love to some unloved movies. I personally did not enjoy Pompeii but was entertained hearing the Jonathan and Molly talk about it. Excited to check out more. Subscribe and listen now!
Jonathan and Molly have great chemistry, a fantastic premise for the show and it's a lot of fun. I'm highly offended that one of my all time favorite movies, Hook, it so poorly reviewed though!
Jonathan and Molly are wicked funny, and more importantly, they sound like they're having a ton of fun. Their reviews of movies that critics hated are succinct yet insightful, and it's one of the more enjoyable movie pods I've listened to!
