  • I love this podcast!

I’m so happy I found this podcast! I’m not new to RunDisney, but I still love to hear all the tips and tricks and just to hear others talking about RunDisney. It keeps me (mentally) in the Disney bubble even when I can’t be there physically. AJ and Erika (with a “K” 😉) are so lively and relatable and just seem like people you want to be friends with. I hope you keep this podcast going and I hope I run into y’all at Princess Weekend!!

  • What a great find!!

Oh my gosh! I just found this podcast and I’ve already binged three episodes in the last 24 hours 😆 I ran my first RunDisney race AND my first half marathon last weekend at Disneyland and have a bad feeling that I’m now hooked! So I turned to my favorite medium (podcasts) to find out more, and stumbled on One More Run. AJ and Erika are so unbelievable pleasant to listen to. As someone who listens to podcasts for somewhere near 4 hours each day, I have an “ear” for good hosts and ones that I can... more

  • Like running with a friend

Hi friends! I first heard you both on the Rise and Run podcast. I really liked what you all were saying so I ventured to your podcast.

I had done 2 Princess halves before and really liked your “what does a weekend look like” episode. Listening to how other’s prepare and go through the weekend is fun.

This past episode was definitely my favorite. I experienced and felt all of your emotional moments of the marathon. I was running with my dad, both our first marathon at Wdw, and I know those late... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 38 - Telegram alerts and charity bibs (with special guest, Matt from Team #runDis)
Q: What is Telegram, and how do the Run Diz alerts work?
Telegram is used to deliver push alerts when Run Disney slots open, with a system that detects openings within a 30-second window and provides direct links to the registration pages to minimize typing and queuing.
Ep 39 - Strength, nutrition and recovery (with special guest, Thomas Stokes)
Q: What are some practical strength exercises for runners?
Tom recommends total-body focus with emphasis on posterior chain development: Bulgarian split squats, deadlifts, and calf raises as key movements to address imbalances and build endurance, along with core and upper-body work to support posture and efficiency.
Ep 39 - Strength, nutrition and recovery (with special guest, Thomas Stokes)
Q: What are the biggest misconceptions about running and strength?
The host asks about common myths; Tom explains that more miles alone isn't the answer and that recovery drives adaptation, while strength training won't necessarily bulk you up and will improve force production, running economy, and injury resistance.
Ep 37 - Things to consider before signing up for a marathon (with special guest, Chris Twiggs)
Q: What is proof of time and why does it matter at Run Disney?
Proof of time determines corral placement and access to certain course segments; Chris outlines acceptable times from other races, the window of validity, and why some runners push for higher corrals for more photo stops and easier pacing, while acknowledging the system can be crowded.
Ep 37 - Things to consider before signing up for a marathon (with special guest, Chris Twiggs)
Q: Is a Disney race a good first marathon?
Yes—Chris and AJ discuss how Disney provides approachable pacing with Galloway Pacers and a forgiving environment that helps beginners gain confidence and avoid injury, while still offering challenge and fun.
