  • A Great perspective on RunDisney weekends!!!

AJ and Erika give a great insight on RunDisney with their great knowledge from themselves and awesome guest. I started listening last year while I was training for my 1st Dopey trying to soak in all that great knowledge they shared not just about running but information surrounding the races, transportation, dinning, expo, hotels, that you kind of forget during the training that can make or break a race weekend. After listening to Carissa Galloway she said something regarding to men in their 30/... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep 63 - Costumes are next level at runDisney races
Q: If you could only choose between having a medal or running down Main Street for the half marathon, which would you choose?
Running down Main Street is the more magical and emotionally resonant experience for me, even over earning a medal, because it captures the essence of Disney weekend and the sense of accomplishment in a single moment.
Ep 60 - Lifting each other up (with special guests, Neely Gracey and Emelia Cellura)
Q: What can men do to support the women in their running journeys?
Be an ally by promoting safety, avoiding judgment, and actively supporting space for women to share experiences; simple acts like offering to pace or share water, and keeping lines of communication open during runs help reduce discomfort and increase safety.
Ep 60 - Lifting each other up (with special guests, Neely Gracey and Emelia Cellura)
Q: What advice would you give to someone starting or rebuilding their running after a long break or postpartum?
Find a supportive, step-by-step plan, consider run-walk strategies, enlist a coach or community, and focus on sustainable progression that respects current life responsibilities, especially motherhood.
Ep 60 - Lifting each other up (with special guests, Neely Gracey and Emelia Cellura)
Q: Totally. Neely, you're such an accomplished athlete. Why is running so important to you?
Running has followed her through every life phase, offering social time, identity, and a constant source of motivation. She notes that it helped her return after pregnancies, kept her connected with family and coaching, and became a lifelong passion beyond mere competition.
Ep 59 - Don't stress about your pace, enjoy the race (with special guest, Dr. Ali Marty)
Q: What exactly is the minimum pace and who are the Balloon Ladies?
The minimum pace is 16 minutes per mile starting from the start line, and the Balloon Ladies serve as the visual sweep of that pace, marking the end of the course for the slowest finishers.
