My husband and I took our kids (then, 3 and 5) to Disney for the first time in November. I stumbled upon Rope Drop Radio when I was beginning to plan. My son, Breccan (Doug, that’s pronounced Breck-in), started listening with me almost daily during our car rides to and from school. Now he absolutely loves Lauren and Doug and even convinced me to become a Patreon member because he NEEDED to hear the After Show. RDR started out as a planning tool, and now it’s become a regular part of our week. Th... more
I love this fun and informative Disney podcast! I always learn fun new tips, tricks, and things I want to try on my next trip. Listening to Rope Drop Radio adds a little bit of magic to my day, even when I am far from Disney! Doug and Lauren have great interactions and conversations that keep it real and entertaining.
Also, Doug’s voice reminds me of Josh Gad, so it’s almost like listening to Disney tips from Olaf-it’s the best. 😂
Thanks Doug and Lauren for bringing the magic each week!
I am a rookie planning a family multi-generational trip to Disney World. A Disney pro friend recommended this podcast, and I have absolutely binged it. Within the course of just a few days, the many episodes I’ve listened to have taken me from clueless to feeling well-informed. This resource has been great for me, since podcasts are easier to fit in my schedule than extensive reading or internet research. Thanks to the hosts for their hard work!
This is my one and only Disney podcast that keeps me feeling connected to the parks all the way from Colorado. I love my Friday tradition of listening to the latest episode during leg day. People at the gym think I’m crazy, but Lauren and Doug get me pumped! Keep it up guys!!
A great podcast full of useful information, honest reviews and great tips. Covers the full spectrum of rides, parks and resorts. My go to listen each week.
