I love this podcast. I found it while training for Disneyland half marathon. I have been listening to 2 or 3 episodes a day to get caught up. The hosts have so much great info and funny stories. It's fun to hear all the race reports and I hope to meet you all at Disneyland Halloween or dopey 2025!
Started listening to this podcast maybe after Dopey 2024 but knew Bob through Customized Training. Now I’m binging all the shows and I feel these folks are friends I have yet to meet. The team also does a phenomenal job of bringing all runners of varying abilities into one cohesive group and it’s absolutely fantastic. From the meet-ups before rD races, to the meet up at Disney Springs every race weekend, it makes the races feel less huge because you know you have friends out there on the course.... more
I decided to run the Disney marathon next year, and found a YouTube channel that showed a really sweet and enthusiastic runner recording her race through the parks. I found out she had a podcast she contributes to, and got super excited to listen! This is a great background podcast while you’re running or doing other activities. It’s both light and informative! Also, the hosts are super nice for and make you feel like you can do anything. I was so worried about training because I’m not a ha... more
I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this podcast mid Dopey training this season, and boy am I glad I did. The Rise and Run group is the epitome of the Run Disney spirit. The gang is just as warm, inviting, and relatable as the friends you make in the corrals on race day. The information and interviews are very insightful and give you your RD fix in between events. more
I’ve spent the past 3 months binging this podcast. The guests they have on are interesting and informative, and it’s the perfect companion to a long run. The hosts ask insightful questions of the guests and have great advice for runners of all abilities. The best part of course, is their delightful recap of runDisney events. Listening to this podcast has made me a better runner and given me the ultimate goal of PR-ing in fun for all future races. Keep up the amazing work!
