  • Funny and entertaining

I stumbled upon “On the Runs” about a year ago while searching for podcasts that covered New England Running content. Eric and Erika and genuine and funny, and I’ve enjoyed continuing to listen to episodes on long drives and runs. Your most recent episode interviewing Jay, race director of Anchor Down, was just what I needed to hear to get me even more pumped the day before my first attempt at the race (which was a blast, by the way). Keep up the good work and keep the code brown stories coming.... more

  • Listening to these two friends talk sparks so much joy and happiness. Which I don't like because when I run I use anger and spite to fuel my record setting pace. It's hard to have someone as your nemesis when they make you smile and laugh while sharing interesting stories. Steer clear of this podcast if you want to win your next 5k ultra.-Chad Ultra

Re-Crap Sample 10 - Justin Deflumeri | Doing unsafe things as safely as possible
Q: So when are you looking to do your next state? And where are you thinking you're going to do it?
Probably March before Boston, I want to do another state so I can get to the Northern Line Project, that's what I called it, and I'd like to have four done before we get into Maine.
Re-Crap Sample 10 - Justin Deflumeri | Doing unsafe things as safely as possible
Q: Having done three states now, what have you discovered are the biggest challenges that you've had to work through?
My biggest challenge is getting the crew on the same page and what do you do when out there and like the road closures?
192 | Rob Simmelkjaer | Set the Pace Podcast and New York Road Runners CEO
Q: What were some of the goals you set out to accomplish here?
The first thing I wanted to do was come in there and kind of reinvigorate positivity, getting people feeling good about what we do as an organization.
192 | Rob Simmelkjaer | Set the Pace Podcast and New York Road Runners CEO
Q: How do you enjoy your time in New Hampshire?
I loved it. I love New Hampshire and Vermont. That's a beautiful area.
185 | LIVE from Marathon Sports | Marathon Training and coaching relationship with Nicole and KJ
Q: Can those recoveries be walking or running at a slower pace? Or both, and why?
It can be both. I have athletes where if you're really working hard and you jog and then you're on that last lap and you're struggling, walk.
