Absolutely fascinating. I have been meaning to try this podcast for a while & finally had an opportunity. It did not disappoint! Inspires at the same time as prompting you to reflect & so many things resonate. I’ll be back for more.
Loved listening to this podcast back to back when I discovered it a couple of months ago and can’t wait for the next series to start. Java’s guests are always so inspiring as is Java herself and listening to their conversations feels like listening to friends.
Just listened to the episode with Saima Kaur and LOVED it so much - I’ll definitely be bingeing on the other episodes and will be following from now on! It was so well presented -it felt like I was listening in on friends having a really interesting chat and left me feeling really inspired. Thankyou! 😀
Love these wonderful conversations- raw & vibrant:)
I listened to the first episode of the podcast, and it is brilliant. First, how is this woman only just starting podcasting, it’s SO professional. Second, the guest is fascinating, I found myself agreeing with so much she said, and learning from her too. I’ll definitely be listening to the rest!
I have a 3 month old baby at home, who is great company, but not much of a talker! The podcast is like having Java & guests round for morning coffee, helping me stay connected to my own identity and the outside world. As the title suggests, conversation meanders in ways you would not expect due to Java’s astute ability to identify and open up interesting talking points with her guests as they naturally arise. I particularly enjoyed the episodes with Kiruna Stamell; there could even have been ano... more
Truly fascinating interviews with women about their journeys into creative work. I’ve smashed through the first 3 episodes this week. And As a new mum whose finding her feet in a new identity it’s really resonating with me. And Java has a really lovely relaxed manner. Definitely recommend!!!
I have followed Java Bere on Instagram for awhile and was excited to listen to her podcast!
It is inspiring and also realistic about different creative journeys. I find it comforting to hear how other creatives have also found success through rocky paths or unexpected ways.
This is a new favorite to have on while I’m painting and felting:)
I’m a newly single mum and I spend a lot of time on my own in the house with the little one asleep upstairs. Java’s brilliant first episode had me nodding, smiling, rewinding, taking notes…all whilst trying to batch cook! Thanks for letting me eavesdrop on such an authentic conversation. This is the perfect podcast for all creative women, but especially those whose careers have zigzagged between different industries and joys, as mine has. Java - you have such a lovely style of interviewing! Don’... more
A collection of life stories from womxn who have found themselves or are finding themselves along a winding creative path that defies conventional notions of ‘proper careers’ and ‘normal lives’. So happy Java decided to help people say it out loud to help others do the same.
Absolutely love it !!!!
Such an interesting podcast which really resonated with me being on a wiggly career path too!
So interesting a great creative chat.
I really enjoyed listening to the journey taken by Carrisa and can’t wait for more inspiring women to talk about themselves!
Java is great at guiding the conversation with questions and it just feels like you’re eavesdropping on friends having a great chat
Really lovely to listen to a conversation about how creative people get to where they are. Really enjoyed the first episode and looking forward to more.
