Ben and Cole move through the Star Wars Legends timeline as they see fit! There's assigned reading each week, and every episode covers that week's reading. Simple, right? There are plenty of Star Wars-related tangents along the way, so make sure to listen even if you haven't read!

In a bit of a shorter episode this week, we open with some discussion of the upcoming 2027 release of A New Hope back into theaters and the relevant news from NYCC, including the new Kyle Katarn Black Series figure. But then it's finally time to catc... more
The hotly-anticipated return to THE BOUNTY HUNTER WARS by K.W. Jeter begins with the first four chapters of HARD MERCHANDISE. I was hotly anticipating it, anyway. And we’ve got a lot of catching up to do: Zuckuss and 4-LOM, Bossk, Neelah, Dengar, and... more
Hello there! We've returned for yet another interlude, and this time around we're talking about what's going on with Star Wars movies in general, what happened to "the Edwards Cut" of Rogue One, what makes Lucasfilm get the ick from any given directo... more
In what is likely to be the most frustrating ending ever to be covered on this podcast, we reach the finale of IMPERIAL COMMANDO: 501ST this week. Great book, great series, but tragically cut down in its prime. But we think the ride was worth the pai... more

Recently getting into the greater Star Wars literary universe and these two are great hosts! Like two guys at a bar talking about Star Wars! What’s not to love?!
Ben and Cole,
A few weeks ago I think I may have been the one who gave you a five star review without a written review. Just wanted to tell you guys that I have enjoyed your podcast immensely over the last few years. I don’t have anyone to talk to about the Star Wars novels, so listening to you two is a real pleasure. Currently, I’m reading Jedi Twilight and enjoying being back with I-5 from Medstar. This past December, I finished Crucible sadly, but not before enjoying the New Jedi Order and L... more
I would have given this podcast five stars if Byne didn’t have the attention span of a bumblebee. He and Cole are extremely knowledgeable about Star Wars and provide excellent analysis of the featured book...when Byne remembers that they are, in fact, reviewing a book. Maybe Cole should share his show prep?? All that said, I will certainly continue to listen, as even the digressions are (rarely) informative and/or entertaining...

As someone who has already read all the novels in the EU (pre Disney reset) this podcast is the best EU podcast. That said NJO was the most overlong nonsense I’ve ever read. At least Splinter of the Mind’s Eye was short.
Please, oh please, cover our lord and savior Darth Bane and his Path of Destruction
From the very start, fronted by very recognizable artwork from one of the early 2000s Essential Guide to Characters, you can tell there’s seriously deep fan love and knowledge backing up his Legends book club podcast. What’s refreshing about it is the depth of enthusiasm untainted by some of the darker side of discourse surrounding the place of Legends in today’s Star Wars fandom. And ending each episode with remixed music from the original Dark Forces? Chef kiss. Moar plz.
