Brilliant interview
Some good topics covered, but the accents are brutal.
Very good interviews with some great characters of the Scottish game. Particularly loved Terry Christie and Andy Ritchie.
Enjoyed hearing a different take on football rather than the usual big club focus. Nostalgia, old grounds, cup runs, relegations, poetry, music.
If words were colour, this would be a masterpiece. Variety, humour, nostalgia, past traced to present and back again. Voices from the past, entwining town and club with Val McDermid; pride of an uncle in those closing words with Cathy Jamison. Crisp packets and Chris McQueer; Football as art and the emperor’s clothes of the football casual. And the best polished table in Scottish football. This is a work of art. Every episode. Treat yourself.
