What if the meal plan, calorie count, or macro split is making things worse?
I get it… you ask yourself, “Why is eating an ice cream just... eating an ice cream for some people?” No spiral. No math. No mental war. For you, it’s a whole event. And th... more

It was very refreshing to find Michelle Yates’ podcast on I.E. because the first one I found preached all the “icks” that Michelle talks about. I agree that it’s not good to moralize food but you can’t deny the fact that some foods provide better nutrients than others. I love how she calls out these icks that give IE a bad name and they are the same ones that I questioned myself. This makes me trust her info completely.
This podcast has been so helpful and informative in my journey to recover from binge eating. This podcast also led me to becoming a client of Michelle‘s. I have learned so much from her and I’m very appreciative for all the knowledge that she shares.
This podcast is so informative, and Michelle is such a gem. She truly is very passionate about this work, and her approach is very indicative of that and has been in every interaction we’ve had. Can’t wait for more episodes!
I have been listening to the N&F podcast in order from the first episode while on my road trip. I have learned so much. The episode on why diets don’t work was just what I needed. My dietitian/disordered eating specialist has been trying to get me to understand this for months. Thank you Michelle for your podcast. It is very informative and extremely helpful.
Great content presented in an easy to follow format. Really enjoy N&F and have learned so much from Michelle. Thank you!
