  • Love the Church

Zach you seem to have a distaste for the church of Christ. Not a good idea to throw masked remarks at the church. I to grew up in the COChrist and I don’t agree with some of the legalistic teachings a some congregations have. The instrumental music argument is a farce. It’s not wrong to have or not to have. However it is destructive to all the sudden insist a church change for the sake of change when biblicaly there is nothing wrong with accapella. Every congregation seems to have their hang ups... more

Discipleship Reimagined: Jon Tyson Discusses Authentic Spiritual Formation | #17
Q: How do we re-engage a culture of discipleship?
We need to create a practical, minimum standard discipleship plan that equips everyone in the church to share the gospel and follow up with new believers.
Discipleship Reimagined: Jon Tyson Discusses Authentic Spiritual Formation | #17
Q: What do you mean by the phrase, king and the kingdom?
It emphasizes both the lordship of Jesus and the need to bring that authority into our current culture, balancing the coming of the kingdom with our experience in the present.
What’s the Greatest Evidence for the Existence of God? | #12
Q: What do you think is the greatest argument for God's existence?
My favorite is the Kalam cosmological argument, which asserts that whatever begins to exist has a cause, and the universe began to exist, leading to the conclusion of a cause for the universe.
What’s the Greatest Evidence for the Existence of God? | #12
Q: What created God?
That's based on a misunderstanding; the premise states 'whatever begins to exist has a cause', not everything that exists.
What’s the Greatest Evidence for the Existence of God? | #12
Q: When you use the term properly basic belief, can you define what that is?
A properly basic belief is a foundational belief that is not inferred from other beliefs, but is grounded in specific experiences, making it part of rational knowledge.
