So happy I found this podcast. I am struggling with being a better mom to my 24/22 year old boys. Have the hardest time letting go and not wanting to know “everything “ about their lives.
Hearing someone say … you have to let them live their lives, make mistakes etc helps me. It was my first time finding something that hits right at the intersections of my issues as a parent. I was listening and enjoying the biblically based insights. I must say I hope the hosts consider how their words may come off. To say that you wish your child was fair skinned because you’re darker insinuates that being darker is an issue. That may not be what you meant at all but I wanted to leave you with this teachable moment. God’s creations were just like His love: expansive. It covers all.... more
