Would love to see captions added to the episodes, sometimes i like to read my podcasts!
I live in the US but I’m a little obsessed with freebirth. I listen to these birth stories all the time and they’re just amazing. Keep up the great work.
I listened to this podcast throughout my unassisted pregnancy with my third baby after two traumatic hospital experiences before. I loved how real the stories are, in particular Amy’s story about Eetha. It’s so important to share all freebirth stories regardless of their outcome. Listening to this podcast helped me as I prepared for my freebirth - which was incredibly healing and beautiful. I’m now pregnant with my fourth baby, second unassisted pregnancy and hopefully second freebirth too. Here... more

Thank you ladies for everything 💕
Love this refreshing take on birth! It’s so beautiful that a space has been created for women to come and talk about their positive birth stories, it is truly a joy listening to everyone’s experiences. I also find it very informative learning through other peoples experiences and can’t wait to freebirth my next baby, this podcast has shown me that it’s absolutely okay to birth your baby at home and with no medical professionals if that’s what feels right for you. Something I’ve always felt intui... more
I found all of these episodes extremely helpful in preparing for birth and still love listening to them after birth. From a normal boring free birther
I’ve been a midwife for 2 decades, and myself and my colleagues often tell parents how excited we are for their births. Giving birth is a superpower, and as a breed, midwives are so passionate about families having information and making choices, supported by us for safe care and a beautiful birth. Our appointments are 30 minutes, not 10. The message you’re giving is entirely one-sided, and ignores the fact that, these days, midwives are driven to work in partnership with parents. It also ignore... more
Really informative and inspiring range of birth stories. Uplifting content to help women feel empowered and in touch with intuition before the birth rite of passage. Would recommend
A great podcast. Love listening to every episode. It’s so important we talk more openly about birth! Well done ladies xxx
… And also entertaining. I love listening to women’s stories about birth, and this podcast is hosted so conscientiously and positive, while being very honest, educating about birthing in the system and outside of it.
I recently gave birth at home, not a free birth as we had a midwife there. But listening to this podcast in the run up to the birth of my daughter gave me increased confidence in my body’s innate ability to birth. Even if you’re planning a hospital birth, I’d say this podcast is a good listen as it will help you realise that birth doesn’t have to be a medical event and that you can totally do this.
Listing to NBF while pregnant was an amazing way to boost my confidence before our freebirth. This podcast isn’t your normal topic and it’s anything but boring! Victoria and Leonie are just wonderful people and listening to their views on birth and hearing them support these families in telling their stories, you can’t help but feel like they have your back too. The knowledge and personal experience they have makes their episodes fun and informal but also educational. I could listen to them ever... more
I always enjoy listening to this podcast I’m currently pregnant and planning a free birth and the discussions are so beneficial. Thank you ladies
This podcast is a breath of fresh air. Just normal women from all sorts of normal places birthing their babies. They aren’t all rich or glamorous or living on an island in the Caribbean on a permanent spiritual retreat - they’re just living their lives and giving birth without medical assistance. This podcast breaks down barriers and shows that Freebirth can be for anyone, anywhere.
