I found Norm one night in the 90s. I was a teenager flipping through the AM band and 1030 WBZ was the loudest station. Norm made me a fan of talk radio. Twenty five years later it’s great to hear his show again. Can you sneak his theme song into one of these podcasts?
So glad I stumbled upon this podcast! What memories - Thank you for putting this together.
It so nice to hear Norms voice again! I’m so grateful you’re doing this. Over the years I’ve looked for some sort of archive of the show that used to keep me company oh so many years ago. What a perfect idea to put it on podcast. Hopping more segments of the show become available
In the 1990s, I was a faithful listener up until his very last show. (I listened, fell asleep, and when I woke up, WBZ was reporting his death.) He was humane, funny, and a little weird, and I think his perspective on the world influenced my own. The idea of “new” shows being available right on my phone is just delightful.
