  • Podcast for Christian mums

I love listening to Brettnay’s podcasts, I’ve been blessed by it. Brettnay addresses Christian mums. She does lots of different kinds of episodes : very practical ones, Bible studies, Q&As and topical studies. She keeps creating edifying content and I love how genuine and vulnerable she is willing to be, not trying to appear to have it all together, but pointing listeners to Christ.

Q & A with Simeon and Brettnay
Q: How do you find balance in ministry and marriage and motherhood during stretching seasons?
Balance isn't always perfect; focus on guarding a set time for family, communicate openly about pace and limits, and adjust expectations—prioritize the Lord, marriage, and family, and recognize that some seasons will tilt heavier toward one area before rebounding.
Q & A with Simeon and Brettnay
Q: So another question, how can I support my husband in ministry best while also prioritizing the kids?
Prioritize the marriage first, then ministry, and recognize that the pastor's wife's primary role is to support her husband and family; protect the home as a haven and involve the kids where appropriate, while communicating needs and planning ahead.
Hymns for the Heart: I Must Tell Jesus
Q: What are three answers that God gives to prayer requests?
The answers are yes, no, and wait.
Hymns for the Heart: I Must Tell Jesus
Q: What is something that you have forgotten to thank God for?
Brettnay encourages listeners to be specific and think outside the box in their gratitude, as there are countless things to be thankful for.
Missionary Monday: Visit Greenland with Aleah Gilbert
Q: What is something God is currently working in your heart about?
God is teaching me to depend on Him more rather than trying to fix everything myself, reminding me that I cannot change situations on my own.
